Modern Round Ottoman with Storage

It took me around 15-20 minutes (as opposed to the 3 minutes they claim) to assemble because the locking mechanism of the sides are not that easy to align. I struggled because once I got one piece in and tried to align the other, the other piece would detach and fall off. I ended up having to use a rubber mallet (highly recommended).
I think they could have done without the assembly and just designed it as one solid unit because it really doesn't save that much space to have it shipped in pieces. And I don't think many people would disassemble this after assembly.
Once assembly was finished, I feel the stool is cute and as described. The material is soft and fluffy. It also seems sturdy enough to sit on with a spacious interior. Only time will tell how long this lasts! But so far so good!

This came in separate pieces that you had to assemble - 3 pieces for the sides, a top and a bottom piece. Getting the sides together were easy, it was putting the bottom piece together with the supplied screws and Allen wrench that was a little difficult. One of the screws would not reach the hole and so I had to fiddle with the other two screws and loosen them in order to make the third one screw in properly. Once I got that figured out and put the lid on, it looked great!
The cushion on the lid is very thick and soft and overall feels very sturdy to sit on. The sides do feel a little thin so I would be careful not to accidentally kick the sides too hard or you may dent it. I like the dual functionality of a footstool and storage inside. Overall this is a decent value for the money, but I just wish it were easier to assemble.

This boucle footstool is a perfect size for an additional foot rest. It can be used with a chair or a couch. It can be used as a small stool to sit on, but not for someone who needs more stability.
There is cushioning and it feels soft. Color and the accent piping around the lid. There is a place for storage on the inside, although not very large.

But... I didn't expect to have to assemble this. The cylinder comes in 3 pieces. The material does not line up and in places the material doesn't go all the way to the edge... so the wood shows rather than the fabric. It was a little tricky to put together as it comes in separate pieces. I know what I am doing when it comes to building. This was not real well thought out.
Overall, I really like the stool and can use it in different rooms or with different pieces of furniture... but just expected much more in a $50 ottoman.

This ottoman is useful in so many ways that I couldn't figure out how I wanted to use it at first. I decided to use it for when I get out of the shower to sit down and towel off and apply my lotions, etc. The storage space is plenty big enough to house the products I use most, keeping them handy in one spot.
This would also be a great little side table as the top flips over to reveal a wooden surface the size of a dinner plate or maybe a little bit bigger. It can store your favorite throw blanket that maybe you love so much it's battered enough that you don't want visible but definitely within reach. Don't act like I'm the only one that has one. The material is like a buclé, soft texture that feels like a cozy pair of socks.
I can't lie, I wasn't at all thrilled to open the box and see that I had to assemble it but, it wasn't hard to do at all & it's surprisingly sturdy once you put it together. It's very attractive and the size is great for small spaces.

While the listing says that the ottoman can be, "easily disassembled for effortless moving and travel, and it can be assembled in just 3 minutes", it did not make it clear that it arrives unassembled. The sides come in 3 pieces and are supposed to click into place. I had no issues with two of the sides, but one of them had too much padding at the top and was crooked in one spot. I was able to pin the padding back and maneuver it into place. The bottom went on easily with the 3 included screws and Allen wrench, and then you just put the top on. The instructions were straightforward, and the process would have been quick if not for my ottoman having a manufacturing error.
There were labeled stickers that came off the sides easily, but some of it wouldn't come off the wood on the lid.
I love the size and style of this ottoman, and it looks like the listing. I sat on it and it felt perfectly strong, but I'm 1/2 the weight of the listed weight it is supposed to take, so I can't speak to how strong it is if you put more weight on it.
I also love that you can flip the well-cushioned lid to use as a tray.
Overall, I really like this ottoman. I just wish there wasn't a manufacturing error on one of my parts.
