This ottoman is approximately 17" in diameter. It ships in a small box, because assembly is required. There are 5 pieces, along with screws and a wrench to assemble it. Three curved pieces slide-lock together and attach to a base plate with a few screws. Assembly is actually pretty quick and easy, with not much instruction needed.
The material is soft to the touch with just a bit of give to it. The top has a little padding for your feet/leg support. I cannot speak to the ease of cleaning because I haven't spilled anything on it or tried to make it dirty,
The top lifts off easily to access a storage area for anything small you're looking to hide. You can flip the lid over for a hard surface to set a drink or food. It works for what it was designed for, though it doesn't really, fully lock in place firmly when turned over due to the padding.
You can use it as a small ottoman or just as a storage seat in a corner. It does what it sets out to do and not much more. It is helpful to have around for flexibility.
Easy to assemble. Wish it was one piece storage stool so the edges can’t be seen. I still like it.
